wood; metal; blade REMARKS:Round wooden boards on metal stand with large, heavy blade, connected to an arm that can be rotated, raised and lowered to cut section off wheel of cheese. Rotary mechanism is missing, finish is worn, especially on handle that holds the blade. Cleaned on 4/87. John D. Reese bought the Westside Grocery on Harvard Ave. in Roseburg in 1918. The cheese cutter was in the store at the time of purchase. Reese's son Bud took over the store in 1946. The cutter was saved by the family and donated by Bud Reese'sd daughter.
