THis mystery continued until Rotarion [sic] Joe Ruddley completed his term as President in June, 1983. He presented the lost history book to the then history committee.; Rotarian James Teal, Executive Director of the Roseburg Mission, learned about the desire to have a computerized history reproduction of John Longfellow's so called 'Black History Book' so he volunteered his associate, Gary D. Baker, to use the Mission's computer and printout to accomplish the document presented herewith. When James Teal was called to be the Executive Director of the Portland Rescue Mission, Rotarian Tom Culp continued to have Gary D. Baker complete the above mentioned task. It is hoped that both Rotarians and Rotary Anns will enjoy reading about the Roseburg Rotary Club's history from its founding in 1921 to 1961."
