Description black; satin; crewel; collar; fringe; sleeves; flounce; snaps

REMARKS:Black two piece ladies dress of undetermined material woven in a decorative stripe, semi-transparent. Top has black satin waistband and covers flaps turned back on bodice revealing net with crewel work front and choke collar. The same material used to below elbow. Ball fringe on over sleeve edge, around outer bodice edge and on shorter overskirt edge. Inner skirt is of sateen with three flounces. Outer skirt if gathered flounce in the semi-transparent stripe. Second five inch gathered sateen on straight finish of garment. Hook and eye closures on dress top waist, snaps at skirt placket and wrists. It was probably worn over a bustle. Needs slight repair on fringe, back of top.
