REMARKS:Collection of topographic maps of various scales, with tracings and notes drawn by Percy J.C. Brown, of the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. Brown researched the probable routes of the Oregon Trail and the Mormon Trail from Missouri westward. He indicated probable river crossings and other landmarks. Where sites were in dispute, he indicated which sources preferred alternative routes.; This map collection was prepared to support research reports which Brown completed.
