REMARKS:Copy of a script for a public program recognizing Kenneth Ford, founder of Roseburg Forest Products, on the 25th anniversary of his company. The program was probably presented some time in 1959 prior to August, because it mentions development of the plywood mill at Dillard in the mid-1950's but does not refer to the Roseburg Blast. Long-time employees of Roseburg Forest Products give testimonials to their work with Kenneth Ford, especially in 1936-39 when the firm was just getting established in Roseburg. Ford's family was from Lacomb, Oregon.
