REMARKS:Typed transcription of hisorical marker placed at Paradise Creek Bridge, honoring "Pioneer Stage Drivers". According to notes on this transcription, the marker was erected 26 July 1936 by the Sons and Daughters of Oregon Pioneers. The bridge was built in 1932 with Tom Lillebo as contractor.; A separate document contains a transcription of proceedings at the dedication ceremony for this marker. A talk was given by Margaret Stark Sipple, who introduced a group of stagecoach drivers. Individuals introduced, according to this document, were: Fred Earl, Pete Mattoon, Ed Haines, Arthur Mack, Ed Patterson, Bert Swearingen, Reed Moore, Chester Ridell, Ed Grubbe, August Sagabeard, Alex Sawyer, and Fred Swearingen.
