REMARKS:Floyd C. Frear was Douglas County Engineer from 1920 to 1956. This collection is blueprints of Douglas County bridges, submitted to him as Douglas County Engineer, together with specifications on bids and related correspondence.; A small, acid-free folder contains a sheet on engineer's tracing paper captioned "ROAD INDEX". This sheet lists ca. 60 roads and/or bridges, numbered 1 to 62 [with intervening spaces on the list]. This list referred to file drawer locations probably in Frear's County office.; The sheet is stored on top of the large folder of bridge plans.
