REMARKS:Found in collection, formerly [prior to 1987] cataloged as D-84: one  Christmas 1917 menu, 1st Co. Oregon Coast Artillery [O.C.A.]; two  letters from B.M. Armitage, Superintendent, to W.G. Stevenson, Foreman, Little Chieftan Mining and Investment Company [November 1902]; one Wells Fargo express receipt, T.W. Winniford, dated 1915; 12 postal covers [envelopes] addressed to E.W. Letsom, Yoncalla; one  letter, dated Canyonville, 7 July 1880, from Samuel Marks; one  statement of account, E.W. Letsom with Stearns and Chenoweth Hardware, dated 1 March 1915. Several of the covers have flag cancellations, ca. 1912.; The covers addressed to E.W. Letsom are on various official stationery [Douglas County Clerk, Douglas County Superintendent of Schools]. Most are addressed to Letsom in Yoncalla, although a cover in 1917 is addressed to Letsom at Elkhead, Oregon. Similarly, the statement from Stearns and Chenoweth is addressed to Letsom at Elkhead.
