REMARKS:Outline of course on Douglas County history, taught by Lavola Bakken at Umpqua Community College ca. 1970-75. Lavola M. Bakken was the first Research Librarian of the Douglas County Museum, and she authored several books and articles on local history. This curriculum guide is a series of notebooks with background information on various topics about Douglas County history.; This collection of documents also includes a handbook on natural dyes and dying, for program developed by Irene Zenev ca. 1980, and a manual for guides explaining the Natural History gallery and collections.; All materials are stored in Hollinger boxes on shelves of Research Library balcony.
