REMARKS: This is an interview with Charles Sheets "Chuck" Collins at his home on June 20, 1979. The Interviewer is Judy Roberts. Mr. Collins came to this area with the three C's in the depression era. He came from Nebraska. He taalks about his fater who worked on the railroad and tells of some of his experiences. He also tells of some of the differences between the railroading then and now. He talks some about the Depression and how it affected his family. He tells about picking corn in Nebraska, he tells about sending hogs to market and he talks a little bit about scoting as a boy. He worked for the Bonneville Power Administration and he is very interested in conservation.
