Old Washoe Club Virginia City Nevada. Virginia City's oldest saloon. Built in 1862 during the Civil War, it was known as the most elaborately furnished club west of New York. Many notables belonged to this club, such as President Grant., Horace Greeley, Mark Twain, John MacKay, Jim Flood, Adolph Sutra, A. J. Ralston and many others.
