REMARKS:Miscellaneous papers of the Shambrook, Virden, Denny, and McNeil families, including graduation and marriage announcements for Agnes Shambrook, and deeds & mortgages involving Cecil Denny and Arthur Hutchinson. A copy of the first 3 chapters of a Shambrook/Downen family genealogy by Ted Shay is stored with this collection, although it has a separate accession number, because it includes a genealogical chart showing the connections among these various families.; Printed materials in the collection include copies of 2 depositions in a civil suit between Frances McLeod vs. Pacific States Telephone and Telegraph [Flossie P. Shambrook being identified as transcriber of the depositions], some booklets on public speaking, one Oregon Parent-Teacher magazine [April 1935], one Finger Print and Identification Magazine [February 1924], trade advertisements, and blank order forms.; Papers are stored in folders along with MG212.1 in large Hollinger box. Large certificates belonging to Agnes Shambrook are stored as MG212.2 in the Halon Room flat file.
