REMARKS:Material from the Phil Harth estate:; For the Research Library's Permanent Collection:; Two  autograph books belonging to Henry and Eva Harth, Dakota Territory, ca. 1882-1884;; One  dance card belonging to Leah Sykes, for the 1916 Roseburg Christmas Ball;; Selected personal papers of Philip and Vivian Harth, including Army discharge form, 163d Ambulance Company roster, marriage license of Philip and Vivian Harth, report cards of Philip Harth, and copies of The Nebo [vol. 1 no. 1] and Emissions from Lockwood [vol. 2 no. 8, August 1974];; Four  small diaries, ca. 1925-1950;; One  accounting ledger [unbound], probably Harth's Toggery [?], ca. 1924.; ; Henry and Eva Harth emigrated from the Dakota Territory to Grants Pass, OR, in 1889. Henry established a clothing store in Grants Pass. Their son, Philip, established Harth's Toggery [a men's clothing store] on Jackson Street in Roseburg. Philip Harth died in 1992.
