REMARKS: This is an interview with Margaret Booth, maiden name Coxdone in 1978. She was born in Ohio in 1899. She did not come to Oregon until 1945 with her husband when she moved to the Glendale area. Therefore she was not able to tell me much early history of the area but she did tell me of the genealogy of the Booth Family and of some reesearch she has done on the Booth Family. Also in this interview is a letter taht is read and the letter was written by Samuel Levi Booth to his father, Samuel T. Booth in Ohio. It is a very interesting letter that was written in 1858 and gives a lot of the work aailable in the area and the wages and what ws hapening around that time. The interview is held in Mrs. Booth's home on old Highway 99 near Glendale. The interviewer is Star Eatherington.
