REMARKS:This is an interview with Quincy Brown; it takes place at the home of Mr. Brown's daughter, Mildred Herman, in Roseburg, Oregon. In this tape, Mr. Brown talks about his own family's genealogy. He is from the CANNON family who homesteaded or who got land grants in Dixonville area.Also his own family got land grants in the Dixonville area.They were sheep farmers.He also talks about the neighbors and what it was like when he was growing up,and about Roseburg in the early days.
