REMARKS: This interview is with Myrtle Criteser and it takes place in her home in Glideon July 27, 1979. The interviewer is Valerie Sonnenberg.
Myrtle Criteser was born in April of 1907 and her mother was Flora May Thomas ad her father was Hathaway Jones. They lived on the Rogue River on a place that was called Ditch Creek Prairie and she tells about her life on the Rogue River. She tells about her illustrious father Hathaway Jones, the great tale teller. She tells what farming was like and what her life was like after she married Nolan Criteser and they moved to Dog Creek.
