REMARKS:Letters apparently sent to Levi Scott. Two are from Wiliam J.J. Scott, and one is from Nancy Buntin. All are addressed "Dear Father", indicating that these are children of Levi Scott. The letter from Nancy (Scott?) Buntin is dated 8 March 1847, and mentions that she expected a letter from Levi Scott "last summer" . This would have been during the time that Scott was involved with the South Road expedition.; There is no mention in Nancy Buntin's letter of the South Road expedition, or of William Scott's [then in Iowa] meeting with Levi Scott at Fort Hall, Idaho.; The letters from William J.J. Scott are dated ca. 1876, and are from Wasco County, Oregon.
