REMARKS: This is an interview with Crystal Conn, it takes place on August 16, 1978 in the home of Mrs. Conn near Melrose and the interviewer is Star Eatherington.
In this interview Mrs. Conn talks about the turkeys and also the history of Melrse and at the beginning of the tae she is talking about the Melrose Grange and how it used to be at the Grange and how that it used to be a secret organization and it was modeled along the line of the Masons. Mr. Conn was an Archambeau and she tells a little about her own family history and some abot the Conn family history and then she goes into turkeys. She and her husband were large scale turkey raisers and she tells about raising those turkeys and about some of the incidents that happen t them. She talks about the methods of raising them and what happened to the turkey market and how they got out of it.
