REMARKS:Storage Box 1 of 4. The Milltown Hill Reservoir was planned in the late 1980's. This box is one of 4 transferred to the Museum containing reports prepared and artifacts found in connection with the archaeological preparatory site work.; This box [Box 1] contains both published reports and original field notes for four  sites, designated 35DO478, 35DO479, 35DO480, AND 35DO481.; Spiral-bound, published reports included in the box have been cataloged separately.; A memorandum dated 11 August 1995 to the Douglas County Museum from John L. Fagan, Principal Investigator, and Maureen Newman, Laboratory Director, of Archaeological Investigations Northwest, Inc., states in part:; "According to the stiuplations of the Archaeological Permit, AP-88, issued in January of 1992, the collection will be permanently curated at the Douglas County Museum. Attached is a copy of a letter from Dr. Leland Gilsen of the State Historic Preservation Office indicating that the county museum will be the permanent repository for the collection...."
