REMARKS:One issue of the Roseburg Review, an evening paper. Article on page 1 column 1 concerns the arrest and suicide of H.J. Robinett in Portland, Oregon. Robinett, described as Mayor of Nofog and clerk of the Nofog School District, was arrested on a charge brought by his daughter, Evangeline Robinett.; Other articles on page 1 describe battle reports from the fronts in World War I, and another page 1 article reports the discovery of gold at Shady Point, near Roseburg. An article on page 4 discusses the Weather Service's refusal to join with other Federal government agencies in occupying the new building. That building, which included the U.S. Post Office, is still  located on the Northeast corner of Cass Avenue at the intersection with Stephens Street.
