REMARKS:Letter from D.S.K. Buick to "Miss Curry" [no further identification], explaining a malaria cure given to Buick in Jackson County in 1873-74.; Buick stated that he purchased a quantity of the medicine for Miss Curry at a cost of $0.50. The bulk of the letter is instructions in proper mixing and administration of the medicine. Buick questons its effectiveness in "a long standing case like your brother's", apparently to referring to a brother of Miss Curry.
