REMARKS:Harry Rapp was a World War I veteran and Roseburg businessman. He was active in veterans' organizations and activities, and proprietor of a granite and marble monument works.; This collection includes papers of his wife, Mary Eileen Rapp, who was Executive Secretary of the Roseburg chapter of the American Red Cross, as well as of his father, George Rapp. A small folder of announcements and cards [together with a photograph] are apparently from Bird Vinson, who served on the battleship OREGON in the Spanish-American War. This folder is designated "US Battleship OREGON, 1905".; Separate sub-groups of this collection contain papers of the Douglas Barracks of the Veterans of World War I, and the business papers of the Macabees organization and of George Rapp.
