REMARKS:Program for an excursion train from San Francisco, California, to Eugene, Oregon. Notes in the program indicate that one of the locomotives was Engine 3690, possibly the last steam locomotive in regular use by the Southern Pacific Railroad. Under the heading, 'BAGGAGE CAR', is the phrase, "...enjoy the staccato blast of the 3690 as it bids farewell to steam in Oregon."; Included in the program is an essay, "Oregon and California Railroad Company", by David F. Myrick, and a "Corporate History of the Oregon & California Railroad". A "Roster of Locomotives of teh Oregon & California Railroad" showing the number, disposition, and S.P. Number [where applicable] of O & C locomotives is included at the end of the essay.
