REMARKS:Self-interview by Ethel Marks Zevely. She says that she will be 75 in 1981, and that she wanted to describe life growing up on the Marks Ranch.
The Marks Family faarm was originally part of the Jacob and John Jones Family Donation Land Claims and other land purchased by the Jones Family which covered area encompassing Garden Valley Blvd from Hucrest to the North Umpqua River. Ethel Zevely is the daughter of Charales Edward and Eva Cloake Marks.
