|Scope & Content||
calling card; achievement certificate; newspaper clipping
REMARKS:Scrapbook compiled by a member of the Eccleston family. The material is chiefly non-genealogical, consisting of line drawings and various newspaper articles, ca. 1885-1895. There are some calling cards for individuals, and Merit Achievement awards [probably from a Sunday School] for Charles S. and Frank Eccleston. The back inside cover of the scrapbook contains a newspaper article about a Virgil Eggleston [sic], a U.S. Army officer and native of New York State. Some of the illustrations are cards showing hunting and fishing scenes in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State, ca. 1888.
