REMARKS:Scale 1 inch = 100 feet. Ozalid "Whiteprint" of survey along banks of South Umpqua River, showing Douglas County Fairgrounds and area of gravel to be removed from South Umpqua River. Map indicates that 5000 yards of river gravel were to be excavated and moved "up next to loam bank" below the fairgrounds race track. The map also shows a site labeled "abandoned dam" across the South Umpqua River.
