REMARKS: This is an interview with Harry Pearce and it takes place at his home in Roseburg, Oregon, on May 8, 1979. The interviewer is Valerie Sonnenberg.
Mr. Pearce is 101 years old and because of the hearing difficullty, I wasn't able to ask him questions easily. The woman who takes care of him tried to ask him questions because she is accustomed to listening to him, but mostly he talked on whatever subject that came to mind. Mr. Pearce had a harness shop in Roseburg. He looked through a photograph album in which he has many early photograpphs of Roseburg. He made comments on the photographs as he turned the pages.
Title Harry Pearce oral history.
