REMARKS: This is an interview with Guy Moore. It takes place on April 7, 1978 in his home in Roseburg, Oregon. Mr. Moore did not come to Oregon until 1934, at which time he worked at a lumber company and the very next year he went to work for the C.C.C. program up at Steamboat, so this interview is also exclusively on that topic. He talks about everything on the C.C.C. program from the medical care to the educational programs, tothe work they accomplished, to the recreational things they did and the private feelings of the boys toward the program. The time period covered in this interview is from 1935 to 1941. The interviewer is Star Eathington.
